Grizzly Science #2: Unlikely Friends (Ch. 9)

Chapter 9 Vince was idly fingering Grant's stomach fur, and feeling supremely comfortable. He had listened in amazement to the big bear's story on meeting Brent. No wonder Grant seemed to be insatiable -- it was the nanites that were running around inside his body. "And I wondered how you had so much stamina... despite...er, well, your age." Grant chuckled mischievously, and turned to put his cigar out in the ashtray on the nightstand. "Well, I probably could keep up even without these things inside me, given the shape I'm in..." He turned back then gently rubbed Vince's hand; he then pushed it lower onto his crotch and growled. "Rub it."

Grizzly Science 2: Unlikely Friends (Ch. 1)

Author's Note: Well, here's another Grizzly Science story for your enjoyment. It takes place sometime after "Grizzly Christmas". Chapter 1 Grant sat at the booth in Grizz's Bar n' Grill alone. Brent had called him several hours ago on his new cell phone that he'd be a bit late getting home.  On mutual agreement, they had both chipped in for two phones several years ago, when they couldn't reach the other immediately. He decided that he'd surprise Brent with some takeout, so he had called ahead to find out if they had takeout service available. They did, to his pleased surprise, so he ordered what Brent and he liked when he arrived at the bar. He sat back, glancing at several good-looking men with cursory attention, not settling on any one of them. He grinned mentally as his dick twitched at several bearish men who were playing pool.

X-men: Mutant Awakening (Ch. 13)

Author's Note: I could have sworn I posted it last night! Apologies to everyone who was expecting a new chapter then. Big thanks to deathklat and Kindar for his help with suggestions, beta-reading and the like. Chapter 13 Logan stood stupefied at the empty bed. Where the hell was Tad? Did I do something wrong? I was just teasing him... How did I scare him? I thought he was starting to relax with me... Logan flinched as a loud rapping came from the door, and Brenda's voice call out sharply. "Let me in!" He hurried to unlock and open the door to see her run in breathlessly.   Brenda caught her breath, took one look around, and ground her teeth in frustration. "Dammit. Logan -- you're coming with me. I know where he's gone." She made a beeline for Tad's pants, then dug out his keys and wallet. "I know where he's going."

X-men: Mutant Awakening (Ch. 8)

Author's Note: Big Thanks to deathklat and Kindar for their help in filling in character reactions, and suggestions! Chapter 8 "So how'd you do?" Brenda grinned, then took a bite out of her sandwich. The three of them were sitting on a blanket in front of a tall oak tree with Tad leaning against the trunk. He munched on his sandwich silently, then swallowed. "Umm, Not bad, I guess? It was kinda fun other than being attacked by holographic animals." He made short work of his sandwich, and reached for another one. Brenda giggled. "At least it wasn't a gigantic robot or something coming after you!"

X-men: Mutant Awakening (Ch. 7)

Author's Note: Continual thanks to  Kindar  for his beta-reading help! :) Chapter 7 Tad stood outside the large round metal doors leading to the Danger Room. Ororo smiled briefly, and pushed a button on the right side of the doors. They swooshed open. Ororo walked inside first. "Here it is." She gestured expansively. Tad followed behind her and the doors shut behind him. He stopped abruptly, his mouth open in shock. He saw a gigantic square room with a metal floor, wires, and what appeared to be metallic paneling adorning the walls. His voice was barely heard as he uttered, "Oh my god." He suddenly felt like he was in someplace out of a science fiction movie. .

Yow - Fanart and Slight Update

Image
Sorry about that folks. I think I'll be updating again soon. Grizzly Science #2 is all completed, so that might be posted next. As for the other stories... I dunno what I'll pick next. Here's "Grant" from Grizzly Science made from  http://yaoi.y-gallery.net/user/gonk/ I was totally blindsided by his fanart one day, and ...well, damn. ;) I think it's fucking kickass!

Grizzly Science - Ch.12

Chapter 12 Grant tapped at his keyboard, finishing up his work. He was anxious to get the day over with, resisting the urge to peek at the wall clock. He frowned as he mistyped a number, and hit the backspace key, then redid it properly. Grant's hands paused, hovering over the keyboard, as his thoughts wandered to his favorite subject - Brent. It'd been about five or six months since they met, give or take a few weeks. Grant had come to a realization that he had become more optimistic in his views, and suspected it was largely due to Brent's zest for life. It was hard to remain cynical in the red-head's wake. His hands resumed typing in the last of the information, then he straightened up against the chair. He smiled to himself, then clicked the mouse pointer over the "OK" box to save his work.

Grizzly Science - Ch. 8

Chapter 8 Brent noted the readings on the display screen of the scanner, feeling relieved. Grant was whimpering with his arms crossed over his chest, and rocking from the side to side, not really paying attention to anything around him. Brent shook his head and sighed, hoping the pain would pass soon. He touched and shook Grant's forearm slightly, trying to get Grant's focus on him. "Grant? Look at me."

Grizzly Science - Ch. 6

Chapter 6 Halfway home, his doubts began to manifest in his mind, as he tapped against the steering wheel at a stop light. Did he really do the right thing? Were these nanites supposed to help him? It was one thing to see the nanites being injected into his IV tube, and another thing to know that they were actually *inside* him. So far, he hadn't witnessed any miraculous changes, but Brent had mentioned it took up to two hours for it to be apparent.

Grizzly Science - Ch. 5

Chapter 5 Grant had gotten to the treatment center, and was struck by how utilitarian the outside looked -- just a glass and metal building with very little shrubbery around. He hesitated outside the glass doors out of sheer nervousness, and shook himself mentally, then walked inside. Grant had put out the glowing ember at the end of his cigar in his car's ashtray before leaving the car, and left his cigar in it's case on his seat.

Grizzly Science - Ch. 3

Ack. Sorry for the late update. Hope everyone enjoys the next chapter :) -Del'an/Gryphbear Chapter 3 Cold crisp air greeted his sensitive nose, as he sniffed upward all around him, feeling as if he should be looking for something. Something felt missing. A strange scent wafted over to his nose from the south, and he started leaping and running in that direction, irresistibly drawn to it. It seemed as if he'd find something precious to him soon. He slowed to a stop when he lost track of the scent. He curiously sniffed the air around him, then he noticed the lake in front of him, only several feet ahead. He was suddenly thirsty.

"Grizzly Science" - Ch. 2

Author's Note: I'm sorry for posting it a day late. I was intending to do it yesterday, but I just simply forgot. Hope people are enjoyig the story so far. :) -Del'an/Gryphbear Chapter 2 Half a year passed as Tech-Nol and each hospital in the capitals of all the USA coordinated their efforts to spread the benefits of nanotechnology. Hospitals were given a guideline of priorities who would receive nanotreatment. The guidelines specified that certain criteria had to be present as prioritized:

"Grizzly Science" - Prologue

Author's Note: Hello there! Here's a story I wrote a while ago, and thought would be a nice addition to the blog. Hope everyone enjoys! :) -Del'an/Gryphbear Onto the story...as I've heard it... *cough* *ahem*... People walked down the street in their own worlds. A few slowed then stopped to watch the news from a store-front window that hosted a multitude of televisions that all showed one channel -- KTAD 51. It was the most recent addition to the news channels the broadcasting companies owned. "Now the news of the day -- Tech-Nol has made a breakthrough to cure cancer, and other terminal diseases without any side repercussions!"
