Surprise!: An Extracurricular Activities Fic: Chapter 4

Author's Note: Sorry this is a pretty long chapter - but I decided to split the story up by the days similar to how DyneWulf does his game.  Day 2: July Morning brings another limb-entangled sleep between us. The best kind. I blink sleepily as I yawn. I groan, as I try to wriggle out of Chester's iron-fisted grip around me. It only makes him draw me closer, and tighter. I kiss his snout, making him mumble happily. I am filled with the sudden, desperate need to go to the bathroom. "Chester? Chester! I gotta pee!… Let go of me, please -" He blinks sleepily, rolls over on his back, releasing me, and promptly letting out a loud snore. I envy him being able to go back to sleep just like that, but I'm glad he let go of me. I hastily make my escape and use the bathroom. I return and glance at his alarm clock. It's about 7 right now. I guess I should pop in the shower, despite staring at Chester's naked, broad frame, covered by a thin sheet.

Grizzly Science #2: Unlikely Friends (Ch. 15)

Author's Note: Hey folks – I greatly apologize for being absent for the last couple months or so. Hope people haven't forgotten this place yet ;) Here's the last installment of Grizzly Science #2 for you to read. Thank you to tpkyteroo for helping me focus on writing this! This is currently the 3rd rewrite since before the "Great Wipe" Onto the story! Chapter 15 Grant moaned softly as he flipped to his side, facing the nightstand. Yawning as he opened his eyes blearily to glance at the alarm, Grant grunted under his breath. A barely coherent thought flitted through his brain - Fuck. Only ten in the morning. Ugh. Feels like I only got 4 hours of sleep. Serves me right for doing another all night marathon -- should put a pot of coffee on...

Grizzly Science #2: Unlikely Friends (Ch. 14)

Author's Note: Thanks to Bill for helping me muddle through the sex scene... and Galen for his invaluable help by proofreading this! :) Warning: A bit more sexual going ons this chapter :) Enjoy. Chapter 14 Brent was puttering around in the kitchen, and setting three bowls on the counter. He scooped a big helping of ice cream into each bowl, and hummed to himself quietly. He glanced at the TV from the kitchen, and shook his head with a small smile. Vince was watching a "Doctor Who" Special on TV that he also liked to watch occasionally from their DVD collection. Looks like we might have something else in common... Licking some melted ice cream off his finger, Brent reached into the drawer for the spoons with his free hand, and plunked one in each bowl. With that done, he put the ice cream back into the lower freezer of the refrigerator.

Grizzly Science #2: Unlikely Friends (Ch. 13)

Author's Note: It's about time I managed to finish this chapter. A big Thanks to Galen for his help in polishing up this chapter! :) Hm, the story's almost over. ;) I'm kinda sad to see this one almost done. Hope people are still enjoying this. Chapter 13 Vince stared avidly at Brent's rounded gut covered in red, thick downy fur. It made his mouth water, as Brent wriggled his grey T-shirt over his head. He flushed as the shirt fell over it, and looked away before Brent noticed. He was sitting at the edge of the bed, waiting for Brent to finish dressing. "So, um, where are we going?" Brent paused, then pulled the t-shirt the rest of the way down, and leaned over to the bed to grab his pants. "Well, Grant suggested we go out to Grizz's for dinner." He slipped one leg inside his pants, and glanced upward with an arched eyebrow. "Unless you wanna stay in?"

Grizzly Science #2: Unlikely Friends (Ch. 9)

Chapter 9 Vince was idly fingering Grant's stomach fur, and feeling supremely comfortable. He had listened in amazement to the big bear's story on meeting Brent. No wonder Grant seemed to be insatiable -- it was the nanites that were running around inside his body. "And I wondered how you had so much stamina... despite...er, well, your age." Grant chuckled mischievously, and turned to put his cigar out in the ashtray on the nightstand. "Well, I probably could keep up even without these things inside me, given the shape I'm in..." He turned back then gently rubbed Vince's hand; he then pushed it lower onto his crotch and growled. "Rub it."

Grizzly Science #2: Unlikely Friends (Ch. 8)

Author's Note: Here I do bring up the question of safer sex… and mainly plot and conversation ;) Chapter 8 Brent groaned as a beam of sunlight flickered across his eyes. He squinted at the curtain which was partially open, and tried to shift his head out of the sun. He didn't want to wake up yet. In between sleep and awake, Brent floated in a warm and fuzzy feeling while Grant's arms were wrapped around him in a snug hold. His mind drifted to full awareness within moments, as he wished he could spend all day here. His comfortable surroundings were shattered by the phone ringing, ruining his mood. Brent grunted, reaching for the phone, and feeling pissed. He sat up, and answered with a terse reply. "Yeah?"

Grizzly Science #2: Unlikely Friends (Ch. 3)

Warning: Explicit Sexual Situations ahead. Chapter 3 After Grant started the washer, he went to the kitchen, and started warming up Brent's share of the takeout he had bought before. Brent waited for Vince to come out of the bedroom, while sitting on a plush chair to the right of the bed-couch. He wanted to hear Vince's story for himself. He only had gotten snippets from Grant and it wasn't enough to convince him... yet. Vince came walking out of the bedroom, feeling rather timid. He wasn't used to wearing pajamas in front of virtual strangers, and preferred to sleep nude.

Grizzly Science #2: Unlikely Friends (Ch. 2)

Chapter 2 In between bites, Grant managed to get the whole story out from Vince. Vince had spoken of his parents who were loving and caring, and then cold and distant the moment he had come out to them several months ago. He had lost his job and apartment the week later -- due to a rumor that he slept with men.

Grizzly Science 2: Unlikely Friends (Ch. 1)

Author's Note: Well, here's another Grizzly Science story for your enjoyment. It takes place sometime after "Grizzly Christmas". Chapter 1 Grant sat at the booth in Grizz's Bar n' Grill alone. Brent had called him several hours ago on his new cell phone that he'd be a bit late getting home.  On mutual agreement, they had both chipped in for two phones several years ago, when they couldn't reach the other immediately. He decided that he'd surprise Brent with some takeout, so he had called ahead to find out if they had takeout service available. They did, to his pleased surprise, so he ordered what Brent and he liked when he arrived at the bar. He sat back, glancing at several good-looking men with cursory attention, not settling on any one of them. He grinned mentally as his dick twitched at several bearish men who were playing pool.

X-men: Mutant Awakening (Ch. 15)

Author's Note: Many thanks to Kindar ! :) Btw, this is the last chapter (for now) until I do manage to finish off another chapter chronicling Tad and Logan's story. Chapter 15 Tad's eyes opened the next morning to see drab light peeking through a slightly pulled aside curtain. He blinked slowly, and focused on the window, then realized it was cloudy. Covering his eyes with his arm, he laid there a few minutes longer, before sitting up wearily. His thoughts were muddled as he tried to recall the date. What day is it? Oh...yeah. Sunday. I guess I go home today. That thought didn't fill him with as much appeal as it did two days ago. He slowly pushed the blanket aside, and trudged into the bathroom to take a shower. Tad sat at the edge of the bed, pulling on his pants, when he heard a rap on the door. He sighed, and called out, "Hold on a minute!", then yanked them all the way up, buttoning them.

X-men: Mutant Awakening (Ch. 14)

Author's Note: Sorry for not updating last Sunday – I'm gonna make up for it by posting two chapters tonight. Btw, Big THANK YOU to Kindar for his help! :) I really do appreciate you looking over my stuff. Chapter 14 Brenda was pulling out various groceries from several paper bags, and setting them onto the counter when Logan strode into the kitchen. She looked at him with a little smile. "Hey. He's still conked out?" Logan shrugged, and leaned against the counter. The last thing he wanted for Brenda to feel was his frustration, and he thought he was doing enough to suppress it. "Yeah. Still snoring."

X-men: Mutant Awakening (Ch. 11)

Author's Note: Sorry for being a day late! Also - thanks to Kindar for all his help on refining this chapter! :) I'm going to be posting a singular chapter from now on until this story is caught up. Enjoy! Chapter 11 When Logan brushed by Brenda wordlessly, she froze, as she was swamped with his irritation. Closing her eyes, she took a moment to shake off the emotions after he left in his wake. She took a deep breath, then walked into the main area to greet Tad with a smile. "So, The sleeping beauty is awake at last! How do you feel?" Tad made a face at her then shrugged. "Ehh. I'm tired, but... I think I'll live." He glanced past her, feeling troubled. He didn't know why he had stopped himself from telling Logan the truth.  Brenda could sense that something had happened but courtesy told her to wait until Tad brought the subject up before prodding. Her power made it difficult for her to refrain from meddling into everyday matters, but h...

X-men: Mutant Awakening (Ch. 8)

Author's Note: Big Thanks to deathklat and Kindar for their help in filling in character reactions, and suggestions! Chapter 8 "So how'd you do?" Brenda grinned, then took a bite out of her sandwich. The three of them were sitting on a blanket in front of a tall oak tree with Tad leaning against the trunk. He munched on his sandwich silently, then swallowed. "Umm, Not bad, I guess? It was kinda fun other than being attacked by holographic animals." He made short work of his sandwich, and reached for another one. Brenda giggled. "At least it wasn't a gigantic robot or something coming after you!"

X-men: Mutant Awakening (Ch. 6)

Author's Note: Major Kudos to deathklat again for suggestions, and tips and help on the dream sequence. :) Big thanks to Kindar for being so kind to critique this before I submitted it to another site. :) Chapter 6 Logan walked hurriedly to his room - five doors down. He was trying to relax, but tension had coiled into his muscles after talking to Tad. He gritted his teeth as he threw the door open and nearly slammed it shut after him. He rubbed his face vigorously and snarled, smelling Tad on his hands. He abruptly wiped his hands on his pants in a futile effort to get them free of his scent. "Dammit. What has he done to me?"

X-men: Mutant Awakening (Ch. 5)

Author's Note: Thanks to Kindar for his ever continuing help! Chapter 5 Ororo and Tad were in the kitchen, conversing in quiet voices. They had a frozen pizza baking in the oven, as Brenda wandered into the kitchen, led by her nose. Her tone was a mocking scorn, even though her eyes were twinkling with amusement. "Pizza? After the work I went to making your lunch!" Ororo chuckled, teasing Brenda by rolling her eyes. "Oh, just sit down. I just thought I'd take pity on him and make something simple -- my cooking is passable enough, but I don't feel like doing any tonight." Tad shrugged. They were feeding him -- at least it wasn't gourmet food, then he might feel a smidgen of guilt. Brenda glanced at him, but said nothing.

X-men: Mutant Awakening (Ch. 3)

Author Note: BIG THANKS to deathklat for his assistance regarding 'certain' matters involving our beloved Logan :D And more thanks for Kindar for his critiques and suggestions.  Warning: Implicit Sexual situations in this chapter.  Chapter 3 Tad was livid to think that just because one mutant professed they didn't pry without permission, here was another one who apparently didn't follow the same rules... Brenda visibly winced at the onslaught coming from Tad. She squeezed her eyes shut as she hastily erected the mental shield, just as the Professor had taught her. The waves of anger beat against them, but now she was able to think again. She rubbed her temples, and glanced up at Tad with an apologetic expression. With a grimace, she sighed. "I didn't read your mind. It wasn't exactly hard to pick up your emotions."

Grizzly Science - Ch.12

Chapter 12 Grant tapped at his keyboard, finishing up his work. He was anxious to get the day over with, resisting the urge to peek at the wall clock. He frowned as he mistyped a number, and hit the backspace key, then redid it properly. Grant's hands paused, hovering over the keyboard, as his thoughts wandered to his favorite subject - Brent. It'd been about five or six months since they met, give or take a few weeks. Grant had come to a realization that he had become more optimistic in his views, and suspected it was largely due to Brent's zest for life. It was hard to remain cynical in the red-head's wake. His hands resumed typing in the last of the information, then he straightened up against the chair. He smiled to himself, then clicked the mouse pointer over the "OK" box to save his work.

Grizzly Science - Ch. 7

Chapter 8 Rain pattered on the roof of the house, as Grant opened his eyes to darkness, with light slipping in through curtains around the room. His first thought was that it was morning. His second and resigned thought that he would have to go into work. Grant pulled himself upright, and his feet onto the carpet. He sighed, dangling his arms between his legs. He wondered if he should call in sick. Even if he felt fine now -- perhaps it might be best to do that.

Grizzly Science - Ch. 4

Yay: I've figured out how to do the scheduling of my posts, so they should be posted on time from now on... :) Enjoy the story! -Del'an/Gryphbear Chapter 4 Once out of the hospital, He waited on a bench outside the hospital doors for a cab. Sitting there, he pulled out the card, and studied it. Shock filled his face at the realization that the appointment was later that day -- at two p.m. And it was pushing fifteen minutes before nine a.m.
